Static Job Summary demo

This is what Actionscope writes into the run.

A realistic mock of the GitHub Actions Job Summary — This run, Jobs, and how the estimate is calculated. The Action is free. The $49 booking fee buys a week-long Minute Teardown: these workflows, jobs, and OSes ate the minutes — here’s what to change.

Sample CI data, not a live workflow. Pin Sofa-Loaf/actionscope@v0.1.3.

GitHub Actions · Job Summary

Actionscope on a mixed-OS CI run.

Same finance columns as the Action: wall time, rounded minutes, runner SKU, $ at GitHub list price, and included-minute burn. The 48-second macOS job is $0.0620 at list price.

Total 2m 4s 4 $0.0880 14

List prices used (2026-09-05, GitHub runner pricing): actions_linux $0.0060/min, actions_windows $0.0100/min, actions_macos $0.0620/min.

How these columns are calculated

  1. Wall time is observed completed_at − started_at (jobs still running use now).
  2. Rounded minutes follow GitHub billing: each started job rounds up to the next whole minute.
  3. Runner SKU is inferred from job labels / runner name so it can be matched to the usage-report SKU.
  4. Est. $ (list) = rounded minutes × the documented per-minute rate for that SKU.
  5. Included-minute burn is plan-minute consumption for standard hosted runners only. Larger runners cannot use included minutes.

Jobs that never started contribute 0. Public repositories and typical self-hosted runners are often not billed the same way. Custom images and storage are out of scope.

Static mock for 28to3.me. Numbers match the homepage example and Actionscope v0.1.3: lint 12s actions_linux $0.0060, test 1m 4s actions_windows $0.0200, build 48s actions_macos $0.0620.

Org pilot from 28to3.me

$49 books the artifact, not a seat.

The free Action stops at this Job Summary. Stripe $49 is a booking fee for a Minute Teardown: one org, one week, one written review. Built for private repos with macOS or a wide Windows matrix — not Linux-only CI, not enterprise Billing API shops.

What $49 books

These workflows, jobs, and OSes ate the minutes. Here’s what to change.
  • A Minute Teardown — one GitHub organization, one week, one written artifact.
  • Stripe $49 is the booking fee for that human review.
  • $19 App seats (history, budgets, org roll-up) come later.

Install

Pin the free Action, then read the summary.

Add it as a last step so other jobs have finished, or accept a partial estimate for jobs still running.
